Requirements for the last task ( website)

  1. The work can be completed by a maximum of 2 people
  2. Students choose the CMS themselves (WordPress, Joomla, Drupal, Grav)
  3. You can use the account used during classes to create the service
  4. The topic of the website must be connected to the broadly understood topic of journalism and social communication
  5. The website must consist of static pages (e.g. contact, gallery, info, etc.) and entries (news, latest articles, etc.)
  6. There should be a minimum of 10 posts on the website (5 per one person, each person can use a maximum of 2 entries of their own that have been published before – with sources indicated) .
  7. If the website is created by 1 person – 6 posts are enough (maximum 3 of them can be entries that have already been published before)
  8. The website should contain website’s authors’ photos and video materials –
  9.  You can additionally use materials (e.g. photos/videos) from the so-called free photo stocks – in such cases, the source must be indicated each time.
  10. Borrowed audiovisual materials cannot constitute majority.
  11. The student’s task is to choose an appropriate – functional and aesthetic – template (adequate to the topic – different from the one during classes)
  12. The website should contain a configured page with a contact form
  13.  Website navigation should be logical and functional (e.g. top menu)
  14. The website should be free of elements that are not justified in the context of the website’s topic (e.g. empty pages, blind links, etc.)
  15. The website should contain visible links to social media (alternatively, these may be links to the home pages of individual service providers, e.g. https://www.facebook.com/)
  16. It is recommended to choose motifs other than those used during classes
