Requirements for the last task ( website)

  1. The project may be completed by a maximum of two students.
  2. Students may choose any CMS of their preference (WordPress, Joomla, Drupal, or Grav).
  3. The account used during classes may be used to create the website.
  4. The website’s topic must be related to the broadly understood field of journalism and social communication.
  5. The website must include both static pages (e.g., Contact, Gallery, About, etc.) and posts (e.g., news articles, updates, or other content).
  6. The website must contain a minimum of 10 posts (5 per student). Each student may include a maximum of 2 previously published posts, provided that the sources are properly cited.
  7. If the website is created by only one student, 6 posts are sufficient. A maximum of 3 of these may be previously published posts.
  8. The website should include photographs and video materials created by the authors.
  9. Additional materials (e.g., photos or videos) from free stock websites may also be used; however, the source must be cited each time.
  10. Borrowed audiovisual materials must not constitute the majority of the website’s content.
  11. Students are required to select an appropriate template that is both functional and aesthetically pleasing, and suitable for the chosen topic. The template must be different from the one used during classes.
  12. The website must include a properly configured contact form.
  13. Website navigation should be logical and user-friendly (e.g., through a top navigation menu).
  14. The website should not contain any elements that are unjustified in the context of its topic (e.g., empty pages, broken links, or placeholder content).
  15. The website should contain visible links to social media platforms. Alternatively, links to the main pages of social media services may be provided.
  16. It is recommended to choose a theme different from those used during classes.
